Woods Opens Open With a Birdie

The world is certainly looking up for Tiger Woods who this morning started proceedings with a birdie. With a form that is yet to find new peak, sports fans are already putting their money on him to win yet another major title.
With Luke Donald and Lee Westwood both playing on their home turf however, Woods will face stiff competition from two athletes that are both arguably at the top of their form.
However, Woods should not be downhearted by this as he as already stated at a conference that he is now fully fit from his operations and is strong enough to compete on any level and at any event; looking therefore, to add another win to his three current victories of 2012.
Aside from this, Woods also spoke of the current extreme weather conditions which have occurred throughout Britain, making the competition ever so more difficult to play in.
Of course, another key competitor comes in the form of Adam Scott how has started the competition by equaling the opening record of 64, six under par.
At the moment Woods is a mere 3 shots behind and will be looking to close the gap with every shot.
